Who We Help — FAQ

A little more context on the people we work with and how to know if TruMix might be the right fit for you.

Do I need to have a lot of money saved to work with TruMix?
Many financial advisors require you to have a certain amount of money saved before they’ll work with you. We charge a flat monthly fee so that fiduciary financial advice is available to people at many different points in their lives, including young professionals who are just getting started in their careers.
Do you work with people who have recently lost a spouse?
Yes, and this is an area we care deeply about. When you are grieving, the last thing you want to face are the pressures of major financial decisions. One of our advisors, Grant Meyer, has extensive experience supporting widows and widowers, including volunteer work with Wings for Widows — a local non-profit providing pro-bono financial coaching, where he was recognized as Volunteer Coach of the Year in 2022. We will guide you through this difficult time with patience and clarity, at your pace.
I’m nearing or already in retirement — can TruMix help me?
At TruMix, we aim to take the complexity out of retirement. Some of the most common questions we help retirees answer are: Do I have enough to retire? How much can we spend? What will healthcare costs be? When should I claim Social Security? These decisions are important — and you may only get one chance to make them right. Our comprehensive financial planning process is built to help you move into retirement with confidence.
How do I know if I’m the right fit for TruMix?
We look for clients who value more than just money management — people who want open and collaborative communication, expect a coaching-centric partnership, and believe in the power of wellbeing in all areas of life. The best way to find out if we'd be the right fit is to get to know one another. Schedule your Discovery Meeting here — there’s no obligation, just a conversation to see if we'd work well together.
